This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, assess, and cultivate new business prospects in the Federal Civilian sector that align with Agile Defense’s strategic goals.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with senior executives within Federal Civilian agencies.
• Develop comprehensive strategic account and outreach plans aimed at fostering growth and penetrating new markets.
• Perform competitive and market research to inform business development initiatives.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities utilizing Business Intelligence tools and update leadership on significant developments.
• Lead the preparation of responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and other initial business development deliverables.
• Represent Agile Defense at industry events, conferences, symposiums, and trade shows.
• Generate creative solutions to address emerging customer needs.
• Formulate teaming strategies and identify potential partners to enhance Agile Defense’s competitive edge.
• Collaborate with capture, pricing, and solution teams to ensure opportunities are effectively positioned for success.
• Provide strategic updates regarding opportunity pipelines and suggest actions based on market insights and customer feedback.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 7 - 10 years of experience in business development, capture, or opportunity shaping within the Federal Civilian, Department of Defense, and/or Intelligence community.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of Federal procurement processes, government contracting, and the competitive landscape.
• Ability to build relationships, develop strategies, and drive opportunities both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in pursuing and securing work with Federal Civilian agencies such as DHS, DOJ, HHS, DOE, USDA, and GSA.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and market research platforms.
