This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• The Vice President of Medical at EVERSANA INTOUCH will oversee the Medical team within a vast network affiliate, managing brands across various disease states for a wide array of clients, including Marketing, Medical Communications, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
• This position is responsible for providing strategic and scientific guidance to multiple teams, ensuring the development of engaging and clinically accurate content.
• The VP will recognize emerging clinical trends, evaluate clinical data, and engage in medical conferences to create opportunities for clients and the agency.
• Furthermore, the role entails leading and mentoring Medical team members, directing the creation of promotional materials, and advising on the production of medical content.
• The VP will enhance medical knowledge across agency divisions, oversee submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes, and sustain significant client partnerships and new business initiatives.
• This prestigious position demands a dynamic leader with a comprehensive understanding of disease states, clinical trials, treatments, and competitive landscapes.
• An advanced scientific or clinical degree, such as a PhD, MD, or Pharm D, with 7-10 years of experience in an agency or the pharmaceutical sector supporting marketing, scientific communications, medical affairs, or medical education; must possess at least 4-5 years of experience in advertising agency or marketing.
• A leader who exemplifies collaboration, creates a cooperative environment, and proactively utilizes their scientific expertise to foster business opportunities.
• A fervor for scientific storytelling, demonstrated by a successful history of conveying medical advancements to varied audiences.
• Capability to lead and execute content development with minimal oversight or direction.
• Ability to independently and accurately integrate strategic concepts into projects while guiding others in doing the same.
• Comprehension of business offerings and identification of opportunities for organic account growth, including cross-selling and new business initiatives.
• Proficiency in conducting scientific literature searches and interpreting complex clinical data.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills; adept at data analysis and proficient in presentation skills with a commitment to fostering client and team relationships.
• An insightful, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mindset; comfortable leading client interactions and defending work and viewpoints.
• Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations and AMA editorial style.
• Willingness to travel as required.
