VP, Manufacturing and Technical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive program management for intricate technical operations projects, which encompass new product launches, technology transfers, process validations, and facility compatibility evaluations.

• Create consolidated program plans, perform critical path analyses, maintain risk registers, and develop resource plans; actively identify and escalate potential risks and issues.

• Manage stage-gate processes and governance deliverables, ensuring that milestones are achieved on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with regulatory obligations.

• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams in Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to convert scientific and process requirements into actionable operational strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Engineering, or a similar field.

• Over 20 years of experience in operations management within pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing sectors.

• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes (biologics, small molecule, or both).

• Proficient in interpreting technical documentation and engineering schematics.

• Familiarity with cGMP regulations (FDA 21 CFR Parts 210/211, ICH guidelines, EMA requirements).

• Outstanding organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
