This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
β’ Oversees the preparation of updates for client registration statements.
β’ Manages the preparation of various client SEC filings.
β’ Directs the preparation and distribution of materials for client boards and committees.
β’ Participates in board and committee meetings to take notes and deliver presentations.
β’ Composes meeting minutes for review by a senior attorney.
β’ Provides clients with updates on recent regulatory developments and conducts regulatory research.
β’ Prepares contract amendments for services rendered to assigned clients.
β’ Completes all internal compliance documents promptly.
β’ Ensures client satisfaction within the Legal Administration relationship.
β’ Oversees the preparation of filings for specialized regulatory services under the guidance of senior attorneys.
β’ Mentors associates and maintains consistent communication with internal departments and clients.
β’ Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and membership (or expected membership) in the bar of at least one state.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience as a 1940 Act attorney.
β’ Experience in management and leadership.
β’ Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
β’ Familiarity with relevant securities laws.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
β’ Equivalent education, experience, and knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAβs) will be considered.
