This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in global commercial agreements, embedded partnerships, reselling, and various channel arrangements.
• Serve as the main legal advisor for EMEA sales teams regarding Terms of Service negotiations, contract modifications, and reviews of commercial agreements.
• Offer additional legal assistance to AMER sales teams as required.
• Formulate, draft, and negotiate partnership and channel/reseller agreements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, and other cross-functional teams to structure and assess commercial agreements while reducing legal and operational risks.
• Create and enhance templates, playbooks, processes, and informational resources for commercial transactions and sales support.
• Deliver legal training and advice to internal stakeholders, especially sales teams.
• Maintain a solutions-oriented approach in negotiations, minimizing obstacles and resolving issues without unnecessary escalation.
• Report to the Director, Legal - Commercial, as part of the Legal - Commercial (Direct Sales & Partnerships) team.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting commercial transactions, particularly enterprise-level SaaS agreements, Terms of Service negotiations, and sales contract evaluations.
• Experience with EMEA sales teams is highly regarded.
• Experience in partnership and channel/reseller agreements is a significant advantage.
• Previous HR Tech industry experience or knowledge of specialized HR services agreements is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong commercial drafting abilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the capacity to devise creative, practical solutions for intricate commercial and business issues.
• Keen commercial instincts and strategic thought processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of data protection laws, particularly GDPR; prior experience with U.S. data protection legislation is beneficial.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining responsive and adaptable under pressure.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with Sales, Finance, Product, and other functional teams.
• Skill in building trusted relationships with GTM stakeholders while exercising independent legal judgment.
• Ability to maintain a balance between flexibility and assertive pushback on unreasonable demands.
• Strong automation and AI proficiency, along with fluency in AI technologies.
