VP Infrastructure Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• In the role of VP of Infrastructure Operations, you will be an integral part of our Technology team, responsible for the strategy, design, and management of our primarily cloud-based infrastructure, focusing on AWS and GCP.

• You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the reliability, performance, availability, and efficiency of cloud services in a dynamic, high-growth setting.

• Spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of the company’s cloud infrastructure, concentrating mainly on AWS and GCP to fulfill both current and future business needs.

• Establish and execute a cloud strategy that promotes scalability, cost-effectiveness, and business continuity.

• Work closely with the security team to guarantee that the infrastructure complies with necessary frameworks, policies, procedures, and evidence-gathering requirements.

• Collaborate with Development, Product, Security, and Business teams to ensure that business requirements are understood, addressed, and communicated, facilitating the seamless delivery of infrastructure services throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess extensive experience in senior leadership roles within IT infrastructure, particularly focused on cloud services.

• You have significant experience managing multiple cloud operations teams across various technologies, locations, and requirements.

• You are knowledgeable in AWS services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) and GCP services (including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.).

• You demonstrate strong leadership skills in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).

• You have a robust understanding and a proven track record in Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting processes and tools.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and/or equivalent preferred qualifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
