Payment Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Carry out daily payment transactions and reconciliation tasks.

• Adhere to a daily timetable to ensure all activities are finalized by established deadlines.

• Oversee payment flows, execute daily account reconciliations, and address any discrepancies.

• Engage in critical problem-solving when issues arise—identify the source of the problem and propose potential solutions.

• Respond promptly to emerging issues, summarizing facts and offering recommendations for the swift resolution of significant (monetary) challenges.

• Develop, manage, and distribute internal and external reports, including those necessary for KYC, security, and auditing processes.

• Collaborate closely with other teams, including Taulia Trade Technology, Taulia, and various services and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in payment operations, with a preference for commercial payments.

• Proven understanding of global B2B payment methods and tools.

• Experience with high-volume payment setup, initiation, and reconciliation.

• A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business is required.

• Proficient in using commercial banking tools and payment interfaces for creating, tracking, or rectifying payment transactions.

• Established experience meeting critical deadlines while adhering to a defined schedule.

• Proven ability to triage incoming issues and prioritize effectively.

• Comfortable in a global business environment and knowledgeable of cultural differences among customers, partners, and staff.
