VP, Head of Policy, Data Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in transforming client proxy voting policies into structured, system-compatible data with robust governance, version control, and audit capabilities.

• Develop and supervise validation frameworks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of policy data and research inputs.

• Manage end-to-end workflows that facilitate global proxy research production, ensuring alignment with client policies and service level expectations.

• Promote automation, standardization, and ongoing enhancement to accommodate scale, complexity, and global market coverage.

• Collaborate with Custom Policy, Technology, Product, and Business stakeholders to guarantee smooth policy execution and platform enablement.

• Define and advance the operating model, governance structure, and execution framework that supports Broadridge’s tailored proxy voting policy solutions.

• Identify operational, data, and control risks; create mitigation strategies and escalation frameworks to ensure resilient service delivery.

• Spearhead the implementation of new workflows, tools, and operating practices to meet changing client needs, regulatory developments, and business growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, data analytics, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in data operations, governance, proxy voting, corporate governance research, or a related financial services sector.

• Proven experience in leading complex, data-driven operational functions that support client-defined or policy-based service delivery at scale.

• Demonstrated success in translating intricate client requirements or business rules into structured, system-ready data frameworks and operational workflows.

• Strong history of establishing and managing data quality controls, validation processes, and governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability.

• Extensive expertise in data governance, operational controls, and scalable process design.

• Exceptional leadership and execution abilities, including the capacity to manage high-complexity initiatives across cross-functional teams.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to tackle unique challenges that have broad business implications.

• Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with the skill to align stakeholders and drive decisions at senior levels.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity, operational accuracy, and service excellence.

• Comprehensive understanding of operational workflows that facilitate policy implementation, research production, and voting execution.
