VP, Financial Planning – Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take charge of enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, and performance analytics for a growth-oriented SaaS company.

• Develop and rigorously test financial models and scenarios.

• Convert financial analyses into actionable business decisions.

• Collaborate closely with executive leadership and business unit heads.

• Present financial results to the CFO and the board of directors.

• Manage and prioritize competing requests from the CFO, business leaders, and sponsors.

• Play a vital role in the company’s upcoming growth phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in finance, including leadership in FP&A.

• Proven ability to be actively involved in financial modeling.

• Direct experience in a SaaS or recurring revenue business model.

• Proficiency in analyzing ARR, NRR, churn, cohort, and unit economics.

• Strong skills in financial modeling and scenario planning.

• Capability to create complex models from scratch and rigorously test assumptions.

• Experience with exits, sale processes, recapitalizations, refinancings, or similar transactions.

• Familiarity with diligence-ready requirements.

• Possess executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with the CFO and board.

• Excellent prioritization and judgment skills across conflicting requests.

• M&A diligence or post-acquisition integration experience is a plus.

• CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials are advantageous.

• Experience in building or scaling an FP&A function from a less developed state is a plus.
