VP, Finance – Procurement Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with senior Finance leadership to swiftly pinpoint the root causes of operational and reporting issues, formulate corrective action plans, and lead effective execution towards resolution.

• Ensure that all financial operations adhere to requisite accounting standards and successfully undergo both internal and external audits.

• Work alongside Finance leaders to discover and implement automation opportunities while upholding the highest standards of financial integrity and control.

• Partner closely with Procurement leadership to drive transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience, optimizing costs, and achieving measurable financial savings.

• Spearhead the introduction of new capabilities that improve forecasting accuracy and significantly reduce the financial close cycle.

• Negotiate with both current and potential vendors to enhance commercial terms, service quality, and overall strategic alignment.

• Create and execute a long-term strategy to modernize and streamline Finance and Procurement through the integration of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, in close collaboration with Technology leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Over 12 years of progressive experience in technology leadership positions, encompassing technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or service management.

• Proven expertise in technology lifecycle management, product management, and performance reporting based on metrics or OKRs.

• Established ability to lead large-scale transformation projects and engage effectively with executive stakeholders.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills, complemented by a strong executive presence.
