Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead finance professional responsible for coordinating weekly performance evaluations, as well as forecasting and budgeting for both closed and open book contracts.

• Monitor and manage the profitability of contracts, offering insights into key performance drivers while identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

• Act as a crucial financial advisor to operational and commercial leaders, converting intricate financial data into actionable insights.

• Question assumptions and deliver proactive, value-enhancing recommendations aimed at boosting operational and commercial performance.

• Align financial insights and risk assessments across short, medium, and long-term timeframes.

• Ensure that weekly performance metrics are accurately reflected in monthly financial reports.

• Participate in the team responsible for leading customer Management Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

⛳️ Requirements

• A professional accounting qualification is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in a finance business partnering role within the logistics, distribution, or supply chain sectors is essential.

• Extensive experience in managing financial performance related to commercial contracts.

• Proven ability to engage with and influence senior-level non-financial stakeholders.
