This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy for workplace participants within their segment, encompassing lifecycle frameworks, journey architecture, and engagement models.

• Spearhead the design of state-based lifecycle journeys aligned with key milestones (e.g., onboarding, enrollment, contribution optimization, job transitions, retirement readiness), ensuring they meet participant needs and business goals.

• Create and refine segmentation and personalization strategies, utilizing behavioral, demographic, and financial data to enhance relevance on a large scale.

• Collaborate with Product and Digital teams to integrate lifecycle journeys into participant-facing platforms, influencing feature prioritization and experience design.

• Lead the multi-channel orchestration strategy across email, web, mobile, and advisor-supported channels to provide cohesive participant experiences.

• Shape lifecycle performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs related to plan engagement, interaction with Empower tools/content/advice, and ultimately improved financial outcomes.

• Direct the test-and-learn strategy, establishing experimentation roadmaps and scaling successful methods throughout the participant lifecycle.

• Convert data insights into strategic recommendations and engage senior stakeholders on opportunities for lifecycle optimization.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on lifecycle marketing within the organization, promoting best practices and enhancing team capabilities.

• Ensure all lifecycle programs comply with legal, regulatory, and client requirements in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams.

• Foster cross-functional alignment among Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Relationship Management to guarantee the consistent and effective execution of lifecycle initiatives.

• Maintain and update lifecycle documentation, including journey maps, segmentation frameworks, and strategic playbooks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 8–12+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or engagement marketing, preferably in the financial services or workplace benefits sector.

• Familiarity with participant engagement in employer-sponsored benefit plans (e.g., retirement, HSA, equity plans).

• Proven experience managing lifecycle marketing strategy and achieving measurable business outcomes (e.g., engagement, retention, contribution rates).

• Extensive expertise in lifecycle marketing disciplines, including journey design, segmentation, personalization, and multi-channel orchestration.

• Strong analytical skills, with a background in defining measurement frameworks and translating data into strategic actions.

• Experience influencing product roadmaps and integrating marketing strategies into digital experiences.

• Advanced experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar).

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly matrixed environment and influence without direct authority.

• Excellent executive communication skills, capable of presenting strategies and insights to senior stakeholders.

• Experience working within regulated environments and managing Legal, Compliance, and Risk considerations.
