This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct client engagements, managing the entire process from planning to execution and final delivery of monthly close and consulting projects.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, cultivating robust relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables within budgetary constraints.
• Prepare and present financial results and analyses to client management, finance committees, and audit committees, with assistance from Directors as necessary.
• Manage client invoicing procedures, including reviewing and coordinating follow-ups for collections.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members to promote professional growth, engagement, and collaboration.
• Assist with staffing, resource allocation, and utilization management across various engagements.
• Identify opportunities to utilize technology and innovative solutions to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance of engagements with industry standards, firm methodologies, and best practices while monitoring key financial and performance metrics.
• Support practice leadership in strategic initiatives by recognizing opportunities for client expansion and contributing to growth efforts.
• CPA designation along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting; a master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, including substantial experience in not-for-profit sectors and exposure to outsourcing or consulting environments.
• Proven experience in leading client engagements and managing teams within a professional services context.
• Strong understanding of financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytics.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities with a critical thinking mindset and effective execution skills.
• Proficiency in financial management systems and associated technologies.
