This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, target, and pursue new enterprise opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, and partnerships within the industry.
• Develop and sustain a strong personal pipeline filled with high-value prospects.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, which includes prospecting, discovery, solution alignment, executive presentations, proposals, and closing deals.
• Deliver engaging and persuasive consultative pitches tailored to meet each prospect’s financial, operational, and strategic goals.
• Propel deals to closure with accuracy, urgency, and influence at the executive level.
• Oversee all commercial discussions, encompassing pricing, scope, terms, and negotiations.
• Navigate intricate buying processes that involve procurement, legal, risk, and multiple departmental stakeholders.
• Collaborate internally with Legal and Finance to address contract redlines and ensure cohesive deal structures.
• Maintain precise records of pipeline stages, deal notes, and forecast projections.
• Conduct thorough qualifications utilizing established enterprise sales methodologies.
• Provide reliable forecasts to the SVP of Business Development and the CEO, offering insights into deal progression, obstacles, and timelines.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor capabilities, and regulatory or market changes that may affect buyer needs.
• Offer structured feedback to Product and Leadership regarding emerging opportunities or market gaps.
• Collaborate with Marketing to design targeted outbound and demand-generation campaigns.
• Engage Client Relations for reassurance prior to closing and ensure a smooth handoff post-close.
• Work with Product for validation of complex solutions when necessary.
• Serve as a liaison between financial institution partners and all internal MLS departments, managers, and staff.
• Continuously assess MLS services to identify benefits and market demands.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or sales is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and sales of financial services is required.
• At least 5 years of management experience in the mortgage industry is required, preferably with a strong understanding of Mortgage Servicing.
• Experience in selling within financial services, mortgage/servicing, fintech, data/analytics, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus.
• Adhere to all University Bank policies and procedures as applicable.
• Additional duties may be assigned by Executive Management.
