📋 Description

• Spearhead and expand SharkNinja’s Amazon operations across the United States and Canada.

• Report directly to the Global General Manager, Pure Players.

• Drive the P&L for the Americas, encompassing revenue, margin, contribution, and market share.

• Formulate and implement marketplace strategies across 1P and 3P/DTC models, including channel mix, category prioritization, assortment architecture, and launch sequencing.

• Construct and defend investment cases for categories, media, content, pricing, and staffing.

• Identify strategic trade-offs between immediate results and long-term growth.

• Lead collaborative business planning with senior leadership at Amazon.

• Manage POS growth, market share, gross margin enhancement, negotiations, and terms strategy with Amazon.

• Oversee demand forecasting, inventory management, trade spend oversight, margin-to-contribution targets, KPIs, reviews, and dashboards.

• Direct retail media strategy and budget, including Amazon Ads and Gross Vendor Funding.

• Manage content and conversion strategies, encompassing detail page quality, A+ content, brand store experience, imaging, video, and reviews.

• Enhance funnel performance across traffic, conversion rates, ASP, AOV, retention, and LTV.

• Ensure the global brand strategy is delivered with local precision.

• Lead analytics and data science initiatives, establish a governed single source of truth, and streamline the insight-to-action process.

• Promote an AI-driven operating model utilizing automation and AI technologies.

• Build and guide a cross-functional Americas e-commerce team that includes Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Media, Content, Analytics, Finance, and Supply Chain.

• Recruit, develop, and manage talent while addressing underperformance proactively.

• Enhance organizational capabilities across the U.S. and Canada.

• Represent SharkNinja to Amazon leadership throughout the U.S. and Canada.

• Influence C-suite stakeholders through financial storytelling, strategic insights, and transparency in performance.

• Transform channel insights into regional and global growth strategies.

• Navigate complex negotiations and trade-offs effectively.

• Lead cross-channel initiatives that bolster Pure Players performance and enhance broader retail and e-commerce partnerships.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred.

• A minimum of 12 years in progressive e-commerce or digital-first commercial leadership, with P&L responsibility at a significant scale.

• Proven track record of growth and market share gain in a large, digital-first business facing well-resourced competition.

• Direct, hands-on experience managing the Amazon marketplace at scale in North America, with experience on both Amazon.com and Amazon.ca preferred.

• Strong understanding of both 1P (Vendor) and 3P/DTC models, including the economic differences between them.

• Experience leading extensive, cross-functional e-commerce teams encompassing sales, operations, marketing, and analytics.

• Background in building or expanding analytics and data science capabilities to inform commercial decision-making.

• Comprehensive knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory planning, working capital efficiency, trade and marketing spend management, marginal return on investment, margin and contribution profitability, traffic, conversion, ASP, AOV, retention, LTV optimization, retail media strategy, and content-to-conversion execution.

• Exceptional negotiation skills and high-level communication capabilities, earning credibility with both C-suite executives and platform partners.

• Strong analytical and financial understanding.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and marketplace analytics tools.

• High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead an organization through ongoing change.

• Demonstrated history of outperforming at scale and P&L ownership.

• Experience on a platform outside of your control.

• Fluency in unit economics and contribution margin management.

• Capability to make decisions with incomplete information.

• Skill in influencing senior stakeholders and owning business outcomes.
