This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive Direct Sales channel strategy encompassing Telesales, Middle Market, Enterprise, and PCS.
• Define segmentation, coverage strategies, capacity planning, and territory design for all segments.
• Create growth strategies by segment, identifying target verticals, deal profiles, and go-to-market tactics.
• Advance the Petroleum Card Services initiative in accordance with petroleum-specific economics, partnerships, and customer demands.
• Propel bookings, revenue, contribution targets, pipeline generation, conversion rates, deal velocity, and activation metrics.
• Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly business rhythms, including pipeline reviews, forecasting calls, and QBRs.
• Ensure accuracy in forecasts and tackle performance gaps with data-driven action plans.
• Lead a multi-tiered organization of sales leaders spanning Telesales, Middle Market, Enterprise, and PCS.
• Establish expectations, performance standards, and accountability frameworks.
• Mentor leaders on pipeline management, deal strategy, forecasting, and team development.
• Build a leadership bench and succession plan.
• Oversee performance management, including recruitment, development, and exits when necessary.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Risk, and Operations to enhance win rates and minimize sales-lifecycle friction.
• Champion and lead strategic deals while guiding negotiations and executive engagement for high-value opportunities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is required.
• More than 15 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
• Demonstrated success in a leader-of-leaders role with responsibility for national or significant regional revenue outcomes.
• Extensive experience in payments, merchant acquiring, or financial technology.
• Proven ability to scale sales organizations while upholding strong operational discipline.
• A history of achieving aggressive growth objectives in complex, competitive settings.
• Strong commercial insight, including pricing strategy, deal structuring, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced analytical skills across funnel metrics, forecasting, and performance management.
• A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
