VP, Corporate Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the organization and its international subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to US accounting standards (GAAP).

• Oversee the accuracy of financial data and confirm that all financial transactions are recorded correctly.

• Examine financial data for trends, patterns, and discrepancies, and suggest corrective measures as necessary.

• Create and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Offer financial guidance and support to department heads, ensuring all financial decisions align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

• Coordinate external audits, addressing any findings and implementing necessary corrective actions.

• Maintain ongoing communication with external third-party providers across various countries.

• Lead short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting and cash management initiatives.

• Establish a centralized treasury management process.

• Supervise and mentor a diverse team of finance professionals on an international scale.

• Develop a shared services approach to expedite the closing process.

• Collaborate closely with other departments, including operations, legal, and HR, to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance preferred.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.

• Advanced understanding of GAAP as well as federal and state tax regulations.

• Demonstrated experience in managing financial operations for international subsidiaries within a global organization.

• Proven track record in leading a global shared services accounting team.

• Experience in managing and leading remote teams.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Familiarity with the Workday Finance module preferred.

• Expertise in the professional services industry, particularly in HR and staffing services, is a plus.
