This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with company growth goals, market positioning, customer engagement, and enterprise priorities.
• Collaborate with the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and the executive leadership team to refine and promote the company's corporate narrative.
• Ensure uniform messaging across all internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Position communications as a key business function that enhances enterprise value, market differentiation, and organizational alignment.
• Create communication programs that support long-term corporate goals, including capital markets readiness, category leadership, and corporate reputation.
• Oversee all proactive and reactive media engagement strategies.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with national business media, healthcare trade media, technology media, industry influencers, analysts, and content creators.
• Design integrated earned media programs that boost Cotiviti's visibility and thought leadership standing.
• Manage issues, crisis communications, reputation management, and provide executive communications support.
• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership during high-profile corporate events, announcements, acquisitions, and business transformations.
• Create and implement executive communications strategies for the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Promote speaking opportunities, media interviews, podcasts, conference participation, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Develop executive platforms that enhance the company's visibility among customers, investors, policymakers, analysts, and industry stakeholders.
• Produce engaging content and narratives that establish Cotiviti leaders as trusted authorities on healthcare, artificial intelligence, interoperability, payment accuracy, quality, and healthcare infrastructure.
• Manage the enterprise social media strategy across all corporate and executive channels.
• Create a modern content engine that utilizes video, multimedia, executive content, customer stories, industry commentary, and real-time market engagement.
• Collaborate with Brand, Creative, and Digital teams to ensure social channels serve as strategic business assets.
• Develop measurement frameworks linked to engagement, audience growth, share of voice, and business impact.
• Increase executive visibility and influence through coordinated social activation initiatives.
• Lead the enterprise internal communications strategy that fosters organizational alignment, employee engagement, cultural transformation, and business performance.
• Create executive communication programs that connect employees with company strategy, priorities, and performance.
• Supervise leadership communications, employee campaigns, town halls, culture initiatives, and change management programs.
• Establish communication frameworks that promote a highly connected, informed, and engaged workforce.
• Collaborate closely with Human Resources and executive leadership on employee experience initiatives.
• Build and oversee the company's formal spokesperson program.
• Identify, train, and support executive and subject matter expert spokespeople throughout the enterprise.
• Set governance processes for media engagement, speaking opportunities, analyst interactions, and external communications activities.
• Ensure message consistency and strategic alignment across all external representations of the company.
• Lead and develop a high-performing communications organization encompassing external communications, social media, internal communications, content, and executive communications.
• Establish operational rigor, planning processes, measurement frameworks, and communications best practices.
• Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage agency relationships, external partners, budgets, and communications investments.
• Recruit, develop, coach, lead, and retain top-tier talent, focusing on building and enhancing a team and culture that supports and drives high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in communications.
• Experience leading corporate communications for a large healthcare, technology, software, data, or highly regulated organization.
• Proven success in advising CEOs and senior executive teams.
• Extensive experience in media relations, executive communications, thought leadership, social media, and internal communications.
• Demonstrated capability to lead communications during periods of transformation, growth, acquisitions, organizational change, or public company readiness.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare, technology, data, artificial intelligence, or enterprise software markets.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, presentation, and strategic communications abilities.
• Experience managing crises, complex stakeholder environments, and high-visibility corporate issues.
• Proven track record in building, scaling, and leading high-performing teams.
