This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and lead a comprehensive Competitive Intelligence (CI) function throughout the organization to enhance our competitive focus across all areas.
• Cultivate a network of external contacts and internal specialists to gather intelligence.
• Assess market dynamics, competitive actions, and emerging competitors; synthesize this information into essential insights that will guide JD Power's growth strategy, go-to-market initiatives, and product development plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to pinpoint competitive challenges and opportunities.
• Work alongside Marketing to validate JD Power's claims and counter competitor narratives.
• Develop and sustain a competitive scorecard to monitor progress against strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with RevOps to integrate CI into sales processes and tools, including win/loss and customer satisfaction insights.
• Share insights throughout the organization and integrate CI into training and enablement initiatives.
• Oversee third-party research vendors to address intelligence gaps.
• Identify and evaluate potential M&A and partnership targets that align with our growth strategy.
• Over 10 years of experience in market and competitive intelligence roles within B2B-oriented organizations.
• Preference for experience in the automotive sector.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of influencing and collaborating across various business units.
• Experience in establishing CI functions from the ground up is advantageous.
• Comfortable navigating uncertainties and providing clarity in fast-paced settings.
