This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide direct leadership and oversight to AVP-level clinical leaders
• Ensure accountability, manage performance, and foster cross-functional alignment
• Develop and uphold enterprise-wide clinical strategies, policies, and procedures
• Allocate and oversee clinical caseloads across various clinical teams
• Ensure ongoing adherence to all established policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Initiate and lead quality improvement initiatives
• Oversee processes related to grievance and complaint management
• Propel integration of clinical programs
• Support expansion and development of the provider network
• Provide crisis counseling support when appropriate
• Create and routinely present executive-level reports on clinical operations
• Offer quality assurance oversight for client clinical reporting
• Support initiatives aimed at organizational growth
• Deliver clinical leadership through cross-functional collaboration
• Willingness to travel to the San Francisco Bay Area approximately 15% of the time
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive clinical leadership experience
• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, managed care, or business management
• Significant experience in overseeing behavioral health and/or Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
• Experience in managing small to mid-sized clinical teams, including direct reports at the leadership level
• Demonstrated expertise in utilization management, case management, and clinical program oversight
• Proven history of driving quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and operational excellence
• Strong technical skills with experience in relevant software and platforms
• Proficient with various software applications, including Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and project management tools
• Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards such as URAC, NCQA, CMS, DMHC, and Knox Keene (preferred)
• CEAP or SAP certification is preferred
