This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.
• Accountable for the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs.
• Supervises clinical outcomes and coordinates various quality initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to promote ongoing enhancement in patient safety and clinical quality performance.
• Leads or participates in the clinic's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
• Formulates and executes action plans to rectify deficiencies.
• Conducts routine audits and quality assessments.
• Facilitates staff education and training related to quality enhancement.
• Prepares and delivers quality reports to clinic leadership.
• Must be a Registered Nurse.
• A BSN or a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Certification in Nephrology Nursing or quality is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of dialysis experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and customer service skills are essential.
• Proven leadership capabilities and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, garner support and input while engaging in quality improvement activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Competence in analyzing and proposing alternative solutions, as well as assisting in the resolution of sensitive to complex issues.
