VP, Clinical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction and operational management for clinical operations that support remote patient monitoring and virtual care initiatives.

• Formulate operational strategies aimed at enhancing the scalability of clinical program delivery and improving patient outcomes.

• Ensure that clinical operations are in alignment with organizational objectives and comply with regulatory standards.

• Drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and the performance of clinical programs.

• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of clinical programs across various markets.

• Assist clinical teams by providing efficient workflows, processes, and operational resources.

• Collaborate with medical leadership to foster effective care delivery models.

• Support the expansion and scaling of clinical services.

• Assess and enhance workflows related to patient monitoring, care coordination, and intervention.

• Create standardized operational procedures for clinical teams.

• Identify opportunities to streamline clinical processes and boost efficiency.

• Aid in the monitoring of clinical quality indicators and program outcomes.

• Work together with compliance and clinical leadership to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Establish operational metrics and KPIs to evaluate clinical program performance.

• Analyze performance data to uncover trends and improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Science teams to develop dashboards and reporting tools.

• Facilitate the use of care management systems, EHR platforms, and remote patient monitoring technologies.

• Partner with Product and Technology teams to enhance system functionality and integration of clinical workflows.

• Encourage the adoption of digital tools that improve care delivery and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with Medical Directors, Product, Technology, Sales, and Client Success teams to ensure successful program delivery.

• Align clinical operations with product capabilities and the needs of clients.

• Contribute to strategic initiatives that support the growth of the organization.

• Lead distributed teams in a remote working environment.

• Occasionally travel for leadership meetings or program initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10–12 years of leadership experience in healthcare, including management of clinical operations.

• Preferred experience in managing care management, population health, telehealth, or remote patient monitoring programs.

• Proven track record in enhancing clinical workflows and operational performance.

• Preferred experience in leading clinical programs across multiple sites or states.

• Strong analytical skills and operational leadership capabilities.

• Leadership experience in healthcare clinical operations.

• Expertise in clinical workflow design and process optimization.

• Strategic thinking and program development skills.

• Proficient in data-driven decision making and operational analytics.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Capacity to lead distributed teams in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or care management systems.

• Experience with remote patient monitoring platforms.

• Knowledge of clinical workflow and documentation systems.

• Proficient in data analytics and reporting platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
