Clinical Operations Strategy Lead – Practice Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute strategies that enhance clinical operations and improve care delivery.

• Report directly to the National President of MSO Operations.

• Integrate partner practices with CenterWell tools and configure EHR systems for optimal performance.

• Establish data-sharing methodologies that align with population health strategies and ACO initiatives.

• Oversee practice-facing projects from inception to completion.

• Offer coaching and training for practice staff to foster the adoption of value-based care models.

• Manage several implementation projects, including timelines, milestones, risks, and cross-functional deliverables.

• Communicate project status to practice leadership, IT personnel, clinical staff, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Create, maintain, and revise training resources as needed.

• Evaluate independent medical practices and suggest methods for transitioning to outcomes-focused, value-based care models.

• Facilitate change management and promote the adoption of CenterWell best practices.

• Document implementation processes, results, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure precise EHR data capture for quality measures and reporting purposes.

• Design integrations and interfaces that support data sharing and population health analytics.

• Review practice EHR utilization and identify areas for optimization.

• Conduct technical assessments of systems, data locations, and integration scenarios.

• Enhance workflows and assist practices in utilizing athena, eClinicalWorks, Epic, and other EHR systems effectively.

• Support compliance with ACO quality standards and reporting requirements.

• Lead the resolution of intricate technical and operational challenges.

• Guide practices in configuring CenterWell resources, enabling them, and optimizing EHR systems.

• Create templates, tailored reports, and educational materials for programs such as Medicare Wellness Visits, Transitions of Care, and Advance Care Planning.

• Develop and facilitate EHR-specific user groups to identify best practices and training needs.

• Act as an in-house expert on one or two leading EHR systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; significant relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.

• Over 7 years of experience as a client-facing project leader in the healthcare sector.

• Demonstrated success in establishing, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships while optimizing EHR systems.

• At least 3 years of implementation or optimization experience with leading ambulatory EHRs and practice management software.

• Preferred expertise in Epic Ambulatory, NextGen, Athena, or eClinicalWorks products.

• Capability to work remotely within the U.S.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to partner practices and/or CenterWell meetings.

• Self-driven and eager to learn new EHR platforms and workflows.

• Strong organizational, project management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Ability to lead and mentor team members effectively.

• Experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions in complex healthcare settings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 360 suite.

• Development experience with PowerApps and PowerBI.

• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
