This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Develop and implement long-term strategic account plans that align with client business goals and industry developments.
• Conduct quarterly SWOT analyses and competitive benchmarking to enhance account strategies.
• Create and sustain alignment of executive sponsorship between client and company leadership.
• Facilitate executive steering committees and governance forums to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Establish structured feedback loops for continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Lead crisis management efforts and issue resolution, focusing on maintaining long-term relationships.
• Set and meet annual revenue targets for each account, establishing clear KPIs for upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
• Identify and pursue whitespace opportunities through proactive needs assessments and collaborative solution creation.
• Oversee strategic pursuits, including responses to RFPs, solution design, and executive presentations.
• Chair regular account team meetings to ensure alignment on goals, share insights, and coordinate execution.
• Ensure the documentation and dissemination of knowledge transfer and best practices across teams.
• Actively engage in company-wide strategic initiatives, including service innovation and market expansion.
• Lead or participate in internal task forces focused on enhancing client experience or operational excellence.
• Mentor high-potential talent and assist in succession planning efforts.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Industry Expertise: Over 20 years of experience in life sciences, biotech, or technical consulting.
• Client Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage accounts exceeding $10M with complex stakeholder environments.
• Strategic Thinking: Capacity to integrate market trends, client needs, and internal capabilities into actionable strategies.
• Commercial Acumen: Extensive experience in consultative selling, contract negotiation, and value-based pricing.
• Operational Excellence: Knowledge of delivery models, project governance, and performance metrics in a professional services environment.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM/PSA platforms, data visualization tools, and collaboration software.
• Communication: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
• Travel: Willingness to travel 50–75% as needed.
• Other Required: Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in engineering, life sciences, or business.
• Prior experience in consulting or project delivery within life sciences settings.
• Established professional network within pharmaceutical, biotech, or cell and gene therapy sectors.
• Familiarity with value-based or solution selling methodologies.
• Active engagement in industry organizations such as ISPE, PDA, or RAPS.
