• Take charge of the channel strategy: including partner segmentation, market routes, and engagement models with partners.
• Develop annual channel business plans that align with the company’s growth objectives, including specific KPIs for recruitment, enablement, pipeline, revenue, and partner profitability.
• Recruit, nurture, and oversee strategic partners such as National Solution Providers, Regional VARs, Security-focused Solution Providers, Global and Regional Systems Integrators, and Distribution partners.
• Conduct executive business reviews, joint account planning, and account mapping sessions between Venn and partner sales teams.
• Provide partner sales and technical enablement, actively creating partner business plans.
• Identify joint pipeline opportunities, assist field sales on strategic partner deals, and participate in customer meetings alongside partners.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership to enhance partner-sourced pipeline, establish repeatable co-selling practices, and increase partner attach rates.
• Work with Marketing on campaigns, events, and partner success stories that generate pipeline and revenue.
• Hire and mentor Channel Account Managers as the team expands, creating a scalable, high-performance partner organization.
• Proven track record of advancement in channel leadership roles — for instance, regional or managerial channel positions at a larger firm, now prepared to take the lead without relinquishing daily responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating partner relationships and driving measurable outcomes.
• Experience in the channel related to cybersecurity, endpoint security, or a closely related enterprise software sector.
• Established working relationships with VARs, national solution providers, systems integrators, and/or MSSPs.
• Proficiency with CRM and forecasting tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable systems) and the ability to construct a business plan from the ground up.
• A genuine desire to be an individual contributor — engaging in partner recruitment, account mapping, and advancing deals — while simultaneously developing the strategic plan.
• Ability to operate effectively in both directions: managing up to executive leadership and getting hands-on with partners and (eventually) your team.
• Strong business acumen and sound judgment, with the capability to make swift decisions while balancing multiple responsibilities.
• Competitive salary and commission opportunities.
• Equity participation at Venn.
• Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
• Healthcare FSA, HSA, and commuter benefits.
• Unlimited paid time off, paid sick leave, NYSE company holidays, and a day off for your birthday.
• An opportunity to join a rapidly growing startup with a collaborative, impactful team where every voice is heard and clear paths for growth and advancement exist.
