This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Join us in making a significant impact together at Achieve Lending! We are embarking on a substantial transformation, driven by an ambitious three-year strategy aimed at aggressively expanding our lending operations.
• Achieve is on the lookout for a seasoned, analytical, and transformative leader to take on the role of Head of Capital Markets.
• This position will be responsible for the strategic multi-year funding roadmap to facilitate our growth at Achieve, directly reporting to the President of Achieve Lending.
• You will elevate our Capital Markets initiatives into a premier, programmatic operation that aligns institutional investor demand with credit risk, various origination types, and liquidity objectives.
• You will establish the performance framework for loan sales and securitization, holding complete accountability for the resulting outcomes.
• Design and direct Achieve's funding structure as a diversified asset portfolio, optimizing across four essential pillars: Cost of Capital, Certainty of Takeout, Capacity, and Resilience.
• Collaborate with technology to modernize legacy funding processes into a dynamic, automated Capital Allocation Engine.
• Supervise the development of an institutional-grade unified loan data warehouse and a self-service investor reporting portal.
• 12+ Years of Senior Experience: Extensive background in consumer structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech capital markets platforms, including 3-5+ years leading the Capital Markets function.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of managing programmatic ABS platforms, negotiating committed forward-flow and warehouse facilities, and navigating complex liquidity environments.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative field. An MBA, CFA, or advanced degree in quantitative finance is strongly preferred.
• Technical & Leadership Competencies: Distinguished Expert: A blend of Wall Street transaction experience and a modern data-driven strategist. You have a profound understanding of structural waterfalls, stress simulations, and advanced modeling. Owner Mindset: Proven capability to manage outcomes, view investor demand as a managed portfolio, and connect capital markets results directly to long-term enterprise value creation. Transparent Communicator: Outstanding relationship-building skills, with a leadership approach based on proactive transparency to foster trust internally and with external partners. People & Culture Leader: Experience in building high-performing, cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance while promoting a results-oriented culture focused on swift execution and strategic impact.
