VP Business Transformation – Finance

📋 Description

• Oversee significant business processes and support functions while executing company strategies.

• Achieve results for a core function or multiple business-unit areas through subordinate managers and senior professionals.

• Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities in collaboration with senior leaders.

• Facilitate cross-functional execution and promote the adoption of data-driven solutions.

• Spearhead transformation initiatives that align with business-unit growth objectives.

• Design and implement transformation programs by coordinating efforts across functional teams.

• Lead process redesign initiatives that emphasize data-driven thinking and technology enablement.

• Identify, prioritize, and execute innovative, high-impact use cases in partnership with technology and business leaders.

• Analyze root causes, resolve complex business challenges, and support data-informed decision-making.

• Execute change management strategies while engaging stakeholders at all levels.

• Provide strategic insights to leadership, demonstrating executive presence and effective communication.

• Monitor outcomes, manage risks, and instill a culture of continuous improvement.

• Build and guide high-performing teams, aligning diverse groups around common objectives.

• Offer guidance, leadership, motivation, and support for performance development.

• Implement personnel policies and adhere to staffing and training recommendations.

• Conduct interviews, hire personnel, and facilitate performance discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Necessary licenses as required.

• Certification in at least one of the following areas is required: Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified Business Transformation Professional (CBTP), Change Management Certified Professional, or Six Sigma.

• Ten (10) years of relevant experience in business transformation, including several years in a management role that has made a significant business impact, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Experience in management consulting and/or enterprise transformation roles within B2B environments is essential.

• Experience in the financial services sector (insurance, banking) is highly preferred.

• Proven history of successful strategy execution, analytics initiatives, and large-scale change programs.

• Strong collaboration, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to engage at the senior leadership level.

• Analytical, innovative, and adept at navigating ambiguity in complex organizations.

• Applied understanding of technology-enabled operating models and data dependencies.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentation skills.

• Demonstrated management/leadership and negotiation abilities.

• Capacity to create and produce comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports.

• Ability to thrive in a team environment and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations.
