This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage Yondr’s brand platform, positioning, and voice within Education, Artist Relations, and Commercial sectors.

• Oversee company-wide press and media relations, executive communications, and Yondr’s public perspective.

• Compose and refine high-impact copy for web, campaigns, social media, and executive communications.

• Establish and update brand guidelines, voice-and-tone standards, and scalable creative systems.

• Create and direct campaigns, brand films, photography, copy, and design projects.

• Manage social and web presence, including strategy, editorial calendar, writing, shooting, and posting.

• Review and approve brand-facing work produced by internal teams, agencies, and freelancers.

• Oversee the brand experience at concerts, festivals, trade shows, school and district events, and partner activations.

• Design and develop event and trade show presence in collaboration with Sales, Education, and Artist Relations.

• Identify and shape product launches, artist partnerships, and cultural tie-ins.

• Build and lead a small internal creative and content/social team.

• Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and production partners.

• Oversee the brand and communications budget and make build-vs-buy decisions.

• Participate in the Marketing Leadership Team and collaborate with the SVP of Marketing.

• Act as the internal brand guardian across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Education.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• 10 to 15+ years in brand, communications, or creative leadership positions.

• Experience managing brand and/or communications for an entire business, rather than just a specific product line or campaign.

• Direct experience in leading and developing a team.

• Experience managing agency and freelance partners at scale.

• Hands-on experience in writing, art-directing, or shaping creative work within the past one to two years.

• Proven player-coach experience with the ability to execute as needed.

• A portfolio or body of work showcasing brand-building initiatives, including comprehensive brand platforms, rebrands, or launches.

• Recent samples of work that you have personally authored or art-directed.

• Preference for experience in lifestyle, consumer, live entertainment/events, or culture-oriented brands.

• Experience in Education markets or relationships with artists, labels, or venues is a significant advantage.

• Capability to set brand and communications strategy and work hands-on with headlines, decks, or booth layouts.

• Strong news judgment and media intuition.

• Ability to create a cohesive brand story for diverse audiences.

• Creative judgment and experience directing designers, writers, and agencies.

• Strong executive presence and communication skills.

• Comfort with ambiguity and limited resources.

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working on a computer.

• Effective communication skills in person, virtually, and by telephone.

• Willingness to travel as needed to support live events, trade shows, artist/venue meetings, and company activities.

• Capability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.

• Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
