This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement communication strategies in collaboration with the executive team
• Lead the organization's strategic communication framework and messaging
• Serve as a reliable advisor to executives
• Prepare and train spokespersons for media interviews, speeches, and internal gatherings
• Create corporate messaging, themes, and narratives to enhance brand visibility and safeguard reputation
• Propel thought leadership initiatives, particularly for the clinical team
• Write and oversee press releases, bylined articles, presentations, and various original content
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key media outlets and industry analysts
• Develop communication processes and assess program effectiveness
• Lead and nurture the media relations and executive communications teams
• Report directly to the VP of Communications and Corporate Affairs
• Integrate brand, corporate affairs, executive communications, marketing, and various business sectors
• Create platforms for clinical experts
• Over 15 years of experience in communications, inclusive of media relations and executive communications
• Preferred background in healthcare
• Proven success in establishing and nurturing external media relationships and fostering internal trust among executives
• Capability to devise overarching strategies while being actively involved in execution
• Strong emotional intelligence and a knack for gaining the trust of senior leadership
• Outstanding writing abilities
• Skill in transforming complex, technical, or sensitive subjects into clear, engaging narratives
• Experience in developing successful thought leadership initiatives, ideally in technology or healthcare
• Organizational talents to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-growth setting
