This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive requirements gathering, data modeling, data movement, transformation mapping, automation, testing, and solution design in accordance with enterprise data standards.
• Supervise large-scale, intricate Enterprise Data Management initiatives spanning data platforms and architecture, governance, quality, engineering, reporting, analytics, and visualization.
• Choose appropriate technologies and help shape client solution visions.
• Spearhead technical delivery at any phase of a project.
• Collaborate with key clients, Sales, Vertical Leads, and Engagement Managers to achieve revenue targets, ensure client satisfaction, expand services, and cross-sell solutions.
• Act as the main point of contact for client sponsors and advocate for the client perspective within EXL.
• Align client needs with products, services, and tailored solutions; lead the solution development process.
• Work alongside Sales on expansion, upselling, new solutions, proposals, RFPs, cost estimates, TCO, resource planning, and product demonstrations.
• Design and implement client data strategies, assess data management tools, and oversee vendor relationships.
• Facilitate Data Management meetings and workshops, addressing business and data inquiries.
• Organize project planning, assess feasibility, define project scopes, and prioritize deliverables.
• Enhance EXL Data Management capabilities through best practices, innovative offerings, thought leadership, sales support, and coaching.
• Create thought leadership and techniques in generative AI.
• Supervise team members, provide leadership support and coaching, and assist in recruitment through interviews and feedback.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Over 15 years of experience in Enterprise Data Management.
• A minimum of 10 years in consulting is strongly preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience working collaboratively and/or leading global teams.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and Databricks for large-scale data and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with implementation best practices and reference architectures.
• Expertise in cloud architecture and implementation focused on Data Management and repeatable patterns.
• Experience with cloud security, access management, networking, monitoring, DevOps, and cost management.
• Design and implementation experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Governance/Quality, MDM, Cloud Architecture, or related fields.
• Proficient in a programming or scripting language and performance optimization.
• Comprehensive understanding of API constructs.
• Experience with Big Data best practices and the Hadoop technology stack.
• Familiarity with implementing streaming or messaging technologies.
• Understanding of ETL, ELT, CDC, data warehousing, data marts, pipeline orchestration, and enterprise scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of the SDLC, including CI/CD, data pipeline automation, and deployment strategies.
• Experience working across business and IT functions, corporate cultures, and centralized/federated structures.
• Exceptional communication, interviewing, and group facilitation skills.
• Expertise with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Knowledge of agentic and generative AI patterns, including RAG, semantic search, vector stores, knowledge graphs, and enterprise knowledge bases.
• Ability to design secure, governed, and auditable data architectures for AI agents and authoritative data access.
• Experience with AI-enabled data quality, metadata enrichment, lineage discovery, anomaly detection, and pipeline remediation.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, including guardrails, evaluation, human review, observability, cost management, and traceability.
• Ability to advise clients on AI readiness, governance maturity, data quality, operating models, and high-value use cases.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.
• Most of the work is remote, utilizing collaboration and video tools.
• Flexibility for occasional early or late meetings to accommodate multi-shore teams.
• Involvement in high-visibility projects with measurable impact on clients.

• Some opportunities for U.S. client-site travel may be required.
