VP, Analytics – Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and spearhead the organization's data and analytics strategy, defining the priorities, infrastructure, tools, and team necessary to facilitate ongoing growth.

• Create executive and functional dashboards that offer transparent insights into company performance, customer behavior, marketing effectiveness, retention, channel economics, inventory, and operational trends.

• Establish a reliable source of truth by implementing consistent metric definitions, scalable reporting, data quality standards, and strong governance.

• Collaborate with leaders across Growth, eCommerce, Retail, Finance, Operations, and Customer Experience to translate business inquiries into actionable insights, forecasts, and recommendations.

• Formulate the company’s AI and advanced analytics roadmap, pinpointing opportunities for enhancing reporting, forecasting, decision-making, automation, and customer comprehension.

• Manage data privacy, access controls, vendor risk, cybersecurity measures, and incident preparedness in conjunction with internal stakeholders and external experts.

• Build and guide a high-performing data and analytics team while promoting enhanced data fluency and self-service capabilities throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or data engineering, including leadership roles within a data or analytics function.

• Demonstrated success in creating scalable dashboards, reporting systems, and analytics capabilities in a high-growth setting.

• In-depth understanding of contemporary data architecture, business intelligence platforms, data modeling, governance, and data quality.

• Experience in applying AI, machine learning, or automation to analytics, forecasting, reporting, or business operations.

• Strong commercial insight into DTC, eCommerce, retail, subscription models, performance marketing, or other data-driven consumer businesses.

• Familiarity with data privacy, information security, access controls, and cybersecurity risk management.

• Outstanding business acumen and communication abilities, capable of translating technical concepts and complex analyses into straightforward executive recommendations.
