VP Analyst – CIO Enterprise AI Strategy

📋 Description

• Develop engaging, innovative, and essential content that delivers “must-have insights.”

• Generate new insights and concepts through thought leadership, providing compelling and actionable strategies that enhance the client's capacity to act.

• Conduct thorough analyses to uncover the root causes of a client's challenges or overall requirements and reshape their approach to advance strategic initiatives.

• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insight positions among a team of analysts.

• Present provocative and independent insights to Gartner leaders that can significantly influence the direction of research agendas.

• Investigate, analyze, and anticipate market trends and changes to deliver actionable insights to clients and vendors.

• Offer actionable advice to clients and prospects aligned with their specific content areas through virtual or in-person interactions.

• Create and present high-value materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings, both on and off stage.

• Support BTI and Sales by serving as the market voice to assist Insights teams in content creation and enhance client engagement to progress on critical business priorities.

• Ensure high-quality and timely peer content reviews.

• Establish credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies.

• Engage actively in innovation, ideation, and research discussions while collaborating effectively with peers in the Insights community.

• Identify opportunities for research process enhancements or develop new processes to facilitate excellent service delivery by the team and BTI.

• Mentor and coach junior team members by providing support and guidance.

• Maintain a client-centric focus while consistently seeking to enhance client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.

• 14+ years of relevant industry or field experience.

• Extensive experience in guiding organizations through technology-driven business transformations.

• Experience in developing enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) strategies linked to AI value realization programs.

• Proven track record as a business and technology strategy executive and thought leader.

• Demonstrated ability to influence business executives and Board of Directors by converting complex data into actionable insights.

• Exhibit executive presence and establish immediate credibility with executives and other stakeholders.

• Strong organizational capabilities; adept at working under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and presentation abilities; capable of engaging clients and responding effectively to inquiries.

• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis; skilled in applying patterns and frameworks to formulate and defend conclusions regarding client challenges.

• Strong communication skills, able to explain intricate concepts in a clear and simple manner.

• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale speaking events.

• Strong business and financial acumen.

• Comprehensive understanding of the global and competitive landscape in the subject area, along with its market dynamics.

• Ability to work autonomously while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support others in a multicultural global environment.

• Learning agile and proficient in navigating highly matrixed environments.

• Capability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all levels.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (when applicable).
