Artificial Intelligence Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a business squad, acquiring in-depth understanding of the processes in the area and identifying where AI can provide tangible, measurable benefits.

• Conceive, develop, and implement AI agents and workflows using the Plataforma Agêntica reference architecture and methodologies (agent orchestration, MCP, connectors, Databricks Genie).

• Rapidly create prototypes — progressing from Proof of Concept (PoC) to pilot and then production — confirming value with the business area and refining through each iteration.

• Connect agents to corporate data and systems: Databricks (Genie Spaces, Unity Catalog), Microsoft 365, Atlassian, and relevant domain systems.

• Maintain solution quality through response assessment, testing, observability, and ongoing optimization of prompts and tools.

• Work within the governance, information security, and LGPD frameworks established by the COE AI, while monitoring the usage and costs of deployed solutions.

• Facilitate AI training and integration across business sectors, including initiatives for citizen development (Agent Maker).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or related disciplines.

• Proven experience in developing and delivering Data and/or AI solutions, encompassing LLM use cases in both PoCs and production environments.

• Experience in integrating AI solutions with corporate data systems.

• Practical experience with at least one LLM platform (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) via API, including prompting, function calling/tool usage, and response evaluation.

• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with API consumption.

• Proficient in SQL with experience handling data, preferably within Databricks.

• Capability to interpret business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A hands-on, autonomous profile focused on delivering value.

• A postgraduate degree or specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Machine Learning is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), connectors, and agent architectures.

• Experience with Databricks (Genie, Unity Catalog, Mosaic AI).

• Previous experience in data or AI projects collaborating with business units.

• Awareness of AI governance, information security, and LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law).

• Experience in large-scale retail or e-commerce environments.

• Proficient in English to effectively follow technical documentation and tools.
