VoIP Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with IT managers to assess the networking requirements of the organization.

• Evaluate current VoIP networks and computing systems.

• Create architectural plans for voice and data services.

• Install network hardware components, which include IP and PBX communication servers.

• Design and execute Cisco Unity Systems.

• Resolve VoIP network issues effectively.

• Review and enhance network security systems and protocols.

• Add users to the network and oversee company permissions.

• Optimize network installations to accommodate future growth.

• Educate staff on network and system protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.

• Prior experience as a VoIP network engineer.

• Comprehensive understanding of VoIP systems and IP protocols.

• Familiarity with hardware systems including servers, memory modules, processors, and peripherals.

• Extensive knowledge of network security systems and software.

• Strong project management abilities.

• Understanding of WAN and LAN systems.

• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
