This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Provide support and resolve issues related to routing and switching enterprise technologies within intricate networking settings, such as WAN routing, LAN switching, and VoIP.
• Assist in the administration of firewall technologies, multi-layer VPNs, IPS, ACLs, and best practices for security.
• Configure, oversee, and sustain file servers, storage solutions, backups, and virtual environments under the guidance of the Infrastructure Engineering Manager.
• Maintain and support systems in a 24/7, large-scale, distributed, mission-critical setting across data centers and helicopter EMS bases throughout the U.S.
• Monitor server health, virus protection, backups, and data center operations.
• Participate in initiatives to deploy new technologies or enhance existing infrastructure.
• Offer administration and advanced technical support for current technologies, collaborating with external support services as necessary.
• Document systems and adhere to change management protocols.
• Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, training plans, and disaster recovery protocols for network resource management.
• Collaborate with vendors and consultants to ensure the effective delivery of products and services.
• Raise issues and challenges to the Infrastructure Engineering Manager or company leadership.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Computer Science or a related field from a four-year institution, along with one to three years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with large-scale Citrix XenApp farms is preferred.
• Preferred experience in managing EMC CLARiiON CX4/CX3 SAN.
• Familiarity with Data Domain, Avamar, RecoverPoint, and deduplication technologies is preferred.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations pertaining to information security and assurance.
• Capability to work a flexible schedule, including being part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Required background in Microsoft server technologies, including Windows, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and OCS.
• Experience in Windows System Administration (Windows 2008/2012).
• Familiarity with VMware.
• Experience with Cisco UCS.
• Knowledge of Windows Desktop build and management.
• Understanding of IP protocols and stack.
• Knowledge of DHCP and DNS.
• Experience in Active Directory administration, including GPOs.
• MCSE certification is preferred, or MCSA and/or MTA leading to MCSE.
• VCAP/VCP certification is a plus.
• CCEA or CCAA certification is a plus.
