Virtual Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Provide live, virtual tutoring sessions to students in both one-on-one and small group formats.

• Establish a secure, enjoyable, and engaging virtual classroom environment.

• Utilize the provided curriculum to captivate students through interactive, goal-oriented learning experiences.

• Tailor instruction to accommodate the unique needs of each student.

• Conduct scheduled assessments as per the provided guidelines.

• Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A current and valid U.S. teaching license in General Education, Math, or ELA (expired licenses will not be accepted).

• Additional certifications in Special Education or English as a Second Language are advantageous.

• Availability on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5–8 PM EST (all three days required).

• Access to a reliable computer with a microphone and camera, stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace.

• Capability to successfully complete a federal background check (which may include fingerprinting).

• Proficient in using online teaching tools and platforms.

• Previous experience in online tutoring is preferred.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Must be a legal resident of the U.S. and live and work within the country.
