Virtual Speech Pathologist, New York State Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning setting.

• Develop strategies to engage students and cultivate positive student relationships.

• Assess speech and language proficiency levels.

• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student requirements.

• Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress towards IEP objectives.

• Collaborate with school or district staff to communicate student progress information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

• Valid New York State SLP License granted by the NYS Education Department.

• TSSLD Certification (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities).

• ASHA CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence).

• Must have a clean record with no disciplinary actions on any held state license.

• Knowledge of NYSED's telepractice regulations for providing related services to students with disabilities (IEP/related-services compliance).

• Experience with a reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform; proficient technical setup (webcam, headset, stable internet, private work area).

• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
