Virtual Speech Pathologist, California Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Formulate strategies to engage students and enhance their learning and relationships.

• Assess levels of speech and language proficiency.

• Design and implement treatment plans tailored to meet individual student needs.

• Maintain session documentation and track progress towards IEP objectives.

• Collaborate with school or district personnel to share updates regarding student progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of one of the following: California SLP License.

• Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (CL-879).

• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.

• Completion of a Live Scan Fingerprint with Fullmind.

• Must maintain good standing with no disciplinary actions on any held licenses.

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for assessments and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context.

• A reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup, including a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private/distraction-free workspace.

• Familiarity with IDEA and California special education law/Ed Code requirements.

• Ability to collaborate remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
