Virtual Speech Pathologist, Arizona Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning space

• Develop strategies to engage students and enhance their learning experiences and relationships

• Assess the levels of speech and language proficiency

• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to meet individual student needs

• Maintain records of sessions and track progress toward IEP objectives

• Collaborate with school or district staff to share information regarding student advancement

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Arizona SLP state license is mandatory for practicing as a speech-language pathologist in Arizona

• PreK-12 professional non-teaching certification from the Arizona Department of Education

• Fingerprint Clearance Card required by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for employment in educational settings

• Professional liability insurance is necessary

• Must maintain good standing without any disciplinary actions on any licenses held

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for assessments and therapy in a school/IEP framework

• Must have a reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup, including a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private/distraction-free workspace

• Familiarity with IDEA and California special education laws/Ed Code requirements

• Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, case managers, and families in a remote setting

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States
