This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions that are centered around students and aligned with IEP requirements.

• Perform thorough speech-language assessments using Parallel’s unique Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, evaluate, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.

• Attend IEP meetings and offer dedicated case management for students with “Speech Only” designations as necessary.

• Systematically monitor session data and student progress to provide valuable insights during IEP consultations.

• Create detailed, goal-focused progress reports for each reporting period.

• Provide specialized state-specific services such as AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.


⛳️ Requirements

• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Active SLP license in the state of Oregon.

• At least 1 year of full-time experience in a school setting, conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY); 2+ years preferred for case management roles.

• Proven knowledge of the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and crafting comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills and the capability to establish rapport with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Proficient with technology, including virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.

• Availability during regular school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual abilities are considered a valuable asset.
