Virtual Speech Language Pathologist, SLP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Facilitate student-focused, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy sessions.

• Execute thorough speech-language assessments utilizing Parallel’s exclusive Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, evaluate, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.

• Engage in IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for “Speech Only” students as necessary.

• Methodically track session data and student progress to deliver meaningful IEP consultations.

• Compose comprehensive, goal-oriented progress reports for every reporting cycle.

• Provide specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Active SLP license in North Carolina.

• At least 1 year of full-time school-based experience performing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY). A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred for case management roles.

• Proven knowledge of the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and crafting comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Proficient with technology and comfortable using virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.

• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual capabilities are regarded as a significant advantage.
