Virtual Registered Veterinary Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Work alongside a dedicated team of virtual RVTs to assist our Members and colleagues in delivering the Juno standard of care.

• Interact with Juno Veterinary Members through phone and text-based chat.

• Resolve member inquiries concerning their animals' health and well-being, addressing both general questions and those related to specific Juno Veterinary clinic experiences.

• Review patient medical records prior to and during interactions to efficiently obtain relevant medical history.

• Leverage your veterinary medical expertise to accurately triage and recommend actions based on patient requirements.

• Maintain precise medical records using appropriate veterinary terminology, including documentation of client communications.

• Collect, review, and input medical records from referring animal hospitals.

• Provide an exceptional client experience by demonstrating compassion and genuine care through chat, phone, or video communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Veterinary Technician License (RVT, LVT) in Ontario and/or British Columbia.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an RVT with triage responsibilities.

• A keen interest in emerging technologies, AI, and a passion for learning new operating systems and platforms.

• Outstanding communication abilities: our vRTs spend a significant amount of time engaging with, educating, and supporting members, which is fundamental to the role.

• Proficiency in multitasking across various communication platforms.

• You thrive in a consistent work environment (slow days are not preferable).

• The ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and members (we have team members across 7 locations and 2 provinces/time zones, with over 10,000 members and growing).
