Virtual Primary Care Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual primary and urgent care to our varied patient demographic.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations utilizing virtual tools, clinical expertise, and assistance from our on-site paramedics.

• Identify and manage common and chronic health issues while overseeing follow-up care.

• Address immediate health concerns and appropriately triage patients for advanced care when necessary.

• Work collaboratively with internal specialty teams to create integrated and coordinated treatment strategies.

• Order and assess laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic evaluations; prescribe medications; and manage referrals as needed.

• Ensure precise and timely documentation within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

• Engage in peer collaboration, attend clinical meetings, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a recognized medical school.

• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.

• Active, unrestricted medical license in good standing across multiple states (minimum of 20 states, ideally 40), including Missouri, California, South Carolina, and Georgia.

• Over 4 years of experience in outpatient primary care or a comparable clinical environment.

• Enthusiasm for technology-driven care and proficiency in navigating virtual platforms and connected diagnostic tools.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and skills in building patient relationships.
