Virtual Physician – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide consultations both synchronously and asynchronously in accordance with state telemedicine regulations.

• Ideally, candidate should be able to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week.

• Deliver care via our tailored EMR: reviewing patient records, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, and offering lifestyle advice.

• Adhere to best practices and specific company policies regarding diagnosis, treatment, and documentation.

• Address patient inquiries concerning their treatment and deliver exceptional counseling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.

• Strong preference for candidates with Board Certification in Obesity Medicine and/or Endocrinology.

• Emergency Medicine Board Certification is acceptable if the candidate is also boarded in Obesity Medicine.

• A minimum of 3-5 state licenses is required, with at least two from CA, TX, FL, NY, PA, or IL.

• At least 2 years of post-residency experience is necessary.

• Experience in telemedicine is a plus.
