Virtual Nurse Practitioner, CA License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide patient care through telehealth consultations, which include telephone triage, video appointments, and follow-up emails.

• Engage in ongoing education during weekly Clinical Rounds and via various other methods.

• Work collaboratively with both virtual and in-office team members through daily huddles.

• Utilize specialized clinical training to deliver exceptional virtual patient care.

• Coordinate virtual clinical services alongside patients’ primary care providers.

• Offer patient care 24/7, 365 days a year, utilizing a team-oriented approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in a Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) with active NCCPA certification, OR a Master's degree in an accredited FNP program with national certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practitioner within the last 5 years in outpatient primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine, treating patients of all ages (0+).

• Must be currently licensed in California and capable of obtaining additional state licenses.

• Availability to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Flexibility to cover shifts ranging from 6 am to 12 am PST.

• Strong clinical and communication skills.

• Proficiency in evidence-based primary care practices.

• Capability to effectively leverage technology for high-quality care delivery.

• Competence in communicating with and providing care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to navigate uncertain situations involving patients and colleagues.

• Willingness to adjust behavior to meet the needs of patients.
