This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Support the recruitment, selection, hiring, training, assignment, compensation, and performance management of Virtual Instructors.
• Identify and attract top-tier Virtual Instructors based on established competencies and content demand.
• Conduct interviews and evaluate competencies.
• Oversee the educational pathways of Virtual Instructors.
• Deliver and/or manage corporate training programs for instructors, including Virtual Facilitation Skills, Train-the-Trainer, Dress Rehearsal, and mentoring.
• Analyze and assess individual needs, identifying existing or potential offerings to address them.
• Facilitate team meetings to share insights and establish expectations.
• Act as a liaison to the Learning Development department.
• Provide support for scheduling, classroom/facility selection, setup, and equipment.
• Coordinate addendum, contract compensation, and hourly pay for instructors.
• Develop course training method analyses and success metrics to provide feedback for Tax Training instructional designers.
• Review Instructor Scorecard, which includes surveys, tests, and conversion data.
• Observe, coach, and evaluate instructors based on required competencies.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Virtual Instruction to address underperformance in instructors and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Assign instructors based on needs and performance to fulfill enrollment requirements.
• Conduct year-end performance evaluations and create individual development plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional coursework in training, facilitation, or online learning is preferred.
• Familiarity with instructor and/or presenter evaluation systems.
• Experience in training management.
• Knowledge of needs assessment theories, principles, practices, and techniques.
• Understanding of project management principles, practices, and techniques.
• Proficient facilitation and presentation skills.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills capable of conveying complex information to various organizational levels.
• Ability to identify potential risks linked to proposed training initiatives and suggest alternatives.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to lead in a matrix environment and remotely.
• Effectiveness in collaborating within a diverse work group.
• Familiarity with Windows-based systems.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Competence in navigating the Internet.
• Management experience in hiring, coaching, and development.
