Virtual Instructional Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish trustworthy and collaborative coaching relationships with educators.

• Conduct virtual one-on-one coaching sessions throughout the academic year.

• Evaluate instructional materials, such as classroom recordings and lesson plans.

• Gather objective evidence regarding teaching and learning.

• Assess instructional methods and student learning data to pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with teachers to establish professional goals and track their progress.

• Assist in the application of research-informed instructional methods.

• Pose reflective questions that encourage teacher ownership, problem-solving, and ongoing improvement.

• Aid educators in transforming professional development into sustainable classroom practices.

• Record coaching discussions and maintain precise coaching documentation.

• Work alongside EdConnective team members to guarantee a consistent and high-quality coaching experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline.

• At least five years of experience in K–12 education.

• A minimum of three years of hands-on instructional coaching experience aiding educators through observation, feedback, goal-setting, and professional development.

• Background as an instructional coach, mentor teacher, teacher leader, administrator, or in a similar instructional leadership position.

• Profound understanding of effective instructional techniques and adult learning principles.

• Experience in analyzing instructional and student learning data to guide future actions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting.

• Dependable high-speed internet connection.

• Computer equipped with a webcam and microphone.

• Proficient in using Zoom, Google Workspace, and other online collaboration platforms.
