Virtual Health Medical Assistant, Patient Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual health assessments and consultations with clients to determine their needs and create tailored care plans.

• Organize and arrange virtual appointments with healthcare providers and specialists.

• Serve as a liaison among clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and care coordination.

• Offer virtual support and education to clients and their families regarding health topics and available resources.

• Monitor clients' health statuses and report any changes or concerns to the relevant healthcare providers.

• Keep accurate and current client records and documentation.

• Work collaboratively with our team of in-home caregivers to ensure adherence to clients' care plans and promptly address any issues.

• Continuously seek to enhance the quality of care and services provided to our clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or a similar certification is preferred.

• Experience conducting virtual health assessments and consultations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Proficient in using virtual communication tools and electronic medical records.

• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
