Virtual Events Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of webinars and virtual events, from the initial concept and speaker recruitment to live execution and follow-up on leads post-event.

• Develop and enhance Marketo programs for registration, pre-event engagement, day-of reminders, and follow-up sequences, ensuring Salesforce data remains clean for precise pipeline attribution.

• Take full ownership of the Goldcast platform — including stage setup, branding, interactive features such as polls, Q&A, and networking lounges, speaker preparation, and live production.

• Generate and propose innovative webinar ideas linked to product launches, target audience pain points, and stages of the buying process, rather than merely responding to requests from other teams.

• Collaborate with SDR and Sales teams on follow-up strategies after events to convert interested attendees into potential leads.

• Analyze and report on event KPIs such as registration numbers, attendance rates, engagement scores, MQL volumes, and sourced pipeline, providing clear recommendations for improvements.

• Manage the global virtual events calendar and coordinate timelines with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Product using Asana.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in virtual events, webinar programs, or B2B demand generation.

• Hands-on experience with Goldcast, beyond just basic familiarity.

• Proficient in Marketo, including program building, smart lists, and email campaigns.

• Ability to independently manage a project from initial brief to post-event reporting without requiring oversight.

• Strong written communication skills for creating virtual event content and briefs.

• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
