This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Virtual Clinical Educator is tasked with leveraging professional clinical expertise to develop patient relationships through empathy and experience, offering personalized, high-touch support to individuals recently prescribed a complex therapy.
• This role involves engaging with both patients and healthcare providers to deliver expert, clinically relevant, and individualized advice alongside product support for the new therapy regimen.
• The VCE will oversee multiple touch points, serving as the trusted clinical advocate for a designated patient caseload.
• These touch points will identify patient barriers and internal motivators, guiding patients from product onboarding through therapy initiation to milestone celebrations, motivation, maintenance, and ultimately, “graduation” from the program.
• This position will collaborate to improve the patient start experience and enhance patient compliance and persistence initiatives by cultivating individual relationships with patients.
• The educator will offer continuous education and therapy support to the patient, their caregiver, clinical staff, and/or support network.
• Registered Nurse with a current, unrestricted license.
• Prior experience in a telephonic patient support environment, including proficiency with an inbound/outbound call system and seamless warm transfers.
• Experience in HCP and/or patient education, including infusion or injection knowledge, is required.
• A compassionate demeanor, high emotional intelligence, and a strong desire to be a patient educator.
• Excellent communication and writing skills suitable for diverse audiences, along with experience collaborating with a treatment team.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving business needs and solve problems in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable and competent in utilizing technology.
• Previous experience working for or contracting with pharmaceutical companies is preferred.
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing and behavior change coaching.
• Capability to operate within established guidelines while maintaining a personal rapport with patients.
• Self-motivated individual with a proven ability to adapt to shifting business demands and product relevance in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in active listening while managing multiple tasks.
• High level of comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office products, dual monitor setups, CRM systems, and strong typing skills are essential.
